Fox, Day 2

So after a day alone in the guest bathroom we decided it was time to introduce Fox to the other members of the zoo. Since we didn't want to overwhelm him we decided it was best to do this one animal at a time. We started with our resident cat, Pepper.

Things went really well at first. A happy Pepper entered the bathroom, walked right up to a slightly scared Fox, and sniffed noses. That ended the niceties. What ensued was hissing and growling from both parties. I have to hand it to Fox. He wasn't about to take any crap from a cat that's easily three times his size. He's definitely feisty, a trait that will come in very handy when meeting the Lucy pup!

Fox was very interested in Pepper.
Until they made eye contact. Then the hissing began.
After a while they decided to ignore each other and Fox went about looking cute as ever...pouncing.
and playing.
Isn't he a cutie!?

Fox, Day 1

Meet Fox, as in Mulder, the newest member of our little zoo. Fox was born to the mama cat of a friend of ours just about 6 weeks ago. There was a litter of four; three black ones and one red-head. My hubby chose the red-head.

The kids had been asking for a new kitty since our old cat died a year ago. We kept saying "no" so they were clueless about Fox. We brought him home and put him in the guest room bathroom. The guest room has all the Wii games in it so when it came time to let the kids in on the secret we simply asked if they wanted to play Wii.

The kids were gobsmacked! And oh, so excited! Since we introduced them to the X-files over the summer we decided to call him Fox. It's fitting don't you think?

Fox spent most of his time hiding under the heater.
He finally decided to show himself.

Stay tuned for more kitty cuteness!

Senior Session: Caleb

I don't typically photograph senior sessions but as soon as I met Caleb I know he was different. I first met him and his mom when they attended an open house at my studio. Caleb was very interested in my work and asked a lot of questions. Usually this something the parents do but he was certain that he wanted something different so he took the lead. I love kids like this!

I was happy to get to know him better and hopefully provided him the something different he was looking for. Here's a sneak peek of his session.

Love that smile!

You know I love shoes! How could I pass up a chance to highlight these!? They're awesome!

Caleb with his gorgeous mom!

Thanks for a fun afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with you two!

Cheers,
