The moment I met Holly and Nick I knew we'd become fast friends. They are the kindest, funniest, most genuine people you'd ever want to meet! When Holly first contacted me it was on a whim. She had seen me work at Kelli and Danny's wedding but was unsure if I'd travel. Guest what? I travel! I love to travel! I love exploring new places and having new things to photograph. It makes what I do feel new again. I lived in DC a few years back and visited Baltimore on many occasions. I love the inner harbor and especially the aquarium so I jumped at the chance to return!
Holly and Nick were my last wedding of the season and all I can say is what a way to end a great wedding season! There were so many yummy things about this wedding it's hard to know where to begin. Since I won't have any wedding images to post for a while I'm going to break this one up in a couple of posts. Here's part one:
Even with no make up on Holly is gorgeous!

Flower girl, Sophie.

I love this image of Holly and Nick's grandma.

Holly!

Holly's gorgeous dress.

Check out her something blue. An amazing pair of Manola Blahniks.

Shoes this gorgeous need more than one image to showcase them!

OK, I have a slight shoe envy!

I love this image my second photographer, Jess, caught of Nick and his dad helping his grandfather get ready.

Doesn't she look breathtaking?!

Holly and her mom.

Another great image from Jess. Generations.

Holly and Nick I can't thank you enough for choosing me to be your photographer. I'm so happy to have been there to spend the day you both. I'm so looking forward to the day when you are no longer my clients and I can simply call you friends! I love you guys!

Pittsburgh, PA Wedding -- Laura and Kurt
It was about a year ago that I first met Laura and Kurt. I drove to Pittsburgh to have dinner with them and we hit it off immediately. They were fabulous and I kept my fingers crossed that they would feel the same about me. Thankfully I was right. I was thrilled when they called to tell me they wanted me to photograph their wedding!
Then we started talking about engagement photos. You may remember them from their vintage session we did. Or you may remember their FAB airplane session. I knew immediately this was going to be a fantastic wedding and I couldn't wait!
The day finally arrived. Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful Autumn day even though it had been raining every day leading up to theirs. Laura was relaxed and groovy and SO ready to marry Kurt and one look at his face said the same thing. Today was truly about love and I was so honored to be a part of it all.
There were so many great images to choose from but here are a few of my favorites from the day!
The Lesker girls all lined up and getting beautified!

Make up time!

It takes a village.

The beautiful flower girl.

Laura's ah-mazing gown!

Umm, these shoes are off the hook! Beautiful works of art by the fabulous, Christian Louboutin.

Getting dressed with a little help from her sisters.

Just look at how happy she is!

The gorgeous church!

Married!

A little fun with the guys. (Thanks Brian!)

And the girls.

LOVE this group shot!

A couple of portraits.

And it's off to the reception. Think Kurt is a little excited about being married?

Jeremy had the dance floor rockin' all night long!!!

I am so thrilled for you two! Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of such an incredible day!
