We had the best time at R's monster party! I'm exhausted and didn't have time to talk to hardly anyone but it was all worth it! Kids, friends, face-painting, monsters, pinata, cake and Sun Chips. Doesn't get much better than that! Here's some of my favorites from the afternoon.
Edit: OMGoodness I almost forgot. The extremely talented lady who did the facepainting is named Marjorie Funk. She's located in Canton, OH so if you're in need of her talent you can contact her at fnkdesign@earthlink.net.

Kimberly and Paul: Youngstown, OH Wedding
The sun was shining, the sky was bright blue and sprinkled with soft, wispy clouds. The perfect day for a wedding in the park. Kimberly looked amazing in her dress and Paul was more dapper than ever in his all-white suit. Two paths led like a "V" to the altar. Their walk was accompanied not by music but rather stories of their lives and how it brought them to this moment. They held each other's hand, they smiled, they prayed, they nervously read their vows and, when it was over, they breathed.
Kimberly and Paul's wedding was about one thing: their love. All the other stuff didn't matter as much as the two of them being joined together. This was apparent in an email that I got the day before the wedding. It came from Kimberly and went something like this...Oh, by the way, our rings won't be ready for the ceremony so Paul and I are going to have a gumball machine and 25-cent rings in the ceremony. The gumball machine was filled with flowers and the ring bearer got their rings from the machine and handed them off. It was adorable!
The ceremony and reception took place at Pioneer Pavilion in Youngstown's lovely Mill Creek Park which, coupled with the weather, was a gorgeous backdrop for the day's events.
Kimberly and Paul, I was so honored to photograph your wedding and not only witness the love you share but all the beautiful little touches you incorporated in your day! HUGE congratulations to you both! May your lives be filled with joy and laughter. Here are some of my favorite images from the day:

Kimberly getting a little cheeky.
A little help from her mom.
I love her mom's expression seeing her for the first time.
This was Kimberly right before she saw Paul.
And peeking around.
My uber talented second photographer, Jason, captured these next two.

The gumball rings.
Finally married and SO happy!
Kimberly and her sister, Melanie.
I couldn't believe they climbed this tree! Awesome.

They were such troopers and hiked up to this bridge.
First dance.

So happy.
Jason snagged this awesome shot of Kimberly and her dad.
Thanks so much for allowing me to be part of your day. And big thanks to Jason as well for driving down from Michigan to shoot with me! It was a great day.
Cheers,
