This week I am in New Orleans for Pictage's PartnerCon. I want to do something fun while I'm here. So, with the help of my hunky hubby, I am doing a video blog of my time in the Big Easy. Hope you guys enjoy! I've included transcriptions of the videos for my deaf friends.
Text: Hi, this is Jaci Clark. I am at the Pittsburgh Airport. I am on my way to PartnerCon in New Orleans and am so excited about doing this. So excited to meet so many people that I've gotten to know online. So excited about the workshops and speakers; it's going to be fantastic. I wanted to do a video blog about my trip and what's happening. I have some friends who were unable to go, and I'm hoping they will live vicariously through me and the video blogs. See you in New Orleans!
Text: Hi, this is Jaci Clark, and we have landed in New Orleans (yay!). We are here at our hotel, and if you look this way you will see the beautiful view of the city; the Mississippi river over there (hello, Mississippi River!). If you look over this way, you will see our lovely hotel room. We are going to get together this evening with some fellow Pictagers--which should be a lot of fun--to do a cemetery tour for All Saints' Day, which I've heard is a big thing around here. Hey Jaci,
If you get a chance to wonder down by the French Quarter / Bourbon Street. You need to check out this girl I seen down there last year.
She does acoustic guitar some times with her brother. Her name is Katy Rene.
I bought her cd when I heard her do an amazing cover of Crazy by Patsy Cline.
Oh my gosh, this is the BEST! And WOW - you are such a natural on camera! You could easily be an official correspondent! Love it.
I agree with Susan--you are awesome!! You look amazing, too. I am nowhere near as cool or cute on camera. can't wait to watch em all!! Wish I had been there...
