Altered journaling jar that I made using Basic Grey's blush line.

Altered tin

I made this altered tin for a friend with cancer. Inside I have about 20 pictures that I've taken of him with friends. Just a little reminder of how much he's loved!

This is the first layout I've had published. It appears in an idea book called "Fast and Easy Scrapbooking". The photo is from Babycakes Photography and the papers are Basic Grey.

3 things I love about Tucson

I made this for the survivor contest using The Scrapbook Chalet's, February kit. We had to do a layout about our hometown. It was to contain exactly three photo, at least two different patterned papers and two metal embellishments. This is what I came up with. The three pics are of: a saguaro, a sunset and a storm. These are definitely three things I'm going to miss when we move. I've never seen anything like them before living here in Tucson. Just spectacular!

Family Fun

This was made using the February Sweetwater kit from The Scrapbook Chalet. I cut out the "Family" words from a 12x12 and made a border. Then I sewed wavy lines over it. My machine gave me serious trouble while doing this GRRR! I didn't have black brads so I covered silver ones with StazOn.

All products used are from Stampin' Up except for the paper flowers (Fancy Pants) and the pens (Michaels). I hand-cut the stem and swirls and added faux stitching and some pen work for added dimension.
